New features to help with ACS!
Our goals is to provide you all the tools needed to build buyer’s trust and increase sales.. One of the biggest problems vendors face is ACS or abandoned cart syndrome. Buyers go through the entire process, get to your cart, add the products, and right before the sale is complete, they leave the page.
One of the problems is enticing them with other information. For example, you may display your terms and conditions link and when it’s clicked, it takes user away to another page. You want to provide all the information the customer needs right there on that page with as few clicks as possible.
To enhance this, we’ve made all TrustMe site seals Point To Verify enabled. Customers simple scroll over our seals and get the information they need to feel confident in completing the buying process.
- Privacy seals show your commitment to privacy and a link to submit complaints
- Consumer approved shows your latest reviews or your overall review rating along with a link to read more reviews
- Safe Site security seals show that your business takes security seriously and lets them know you perform daily scans
- Business verified seals display all of your verified company information
We think this will help significantly if the seals are placed in the appropriate places on your website to address customer concerns.

View our growth Stats!
We’ve decided to make our growth stats publicly available so everyone can see our adoption rate. You’ll notice in the top right corner of this page a link labeled “stats”. This is the number of times our seals are displayed on member pages! You can also see the browser types accessing the pages. We’ll add more stats over time.

TrustMe.net Business Reviews
We added a component today to allow website customers and users to review TrustMe.net member sites and businesses that are interested in entering our directory. We were hesitant to add a reviews section to TrustMe because of spam, false complaints, upset customers, etc. but we feel like it’s an essential part to increasing buyer’s trust. Previous customer’s experiences with a company help buyers make a decision. The TrustMe.net review site has some features that we think will make it a hit:
- All users have to register to enter a review
- A user can only enter one review on a company
- TrustMe.net staff and volunteers approve all reviews before they are visible
- We can cater questions for ratings based on categories
- RSS feeds to display your ratings on your website
The new “consumer approved” seal will tie into Trustme business reviews. Users will be able to scroll over the seal and see the latest ratings, submit ratings, and also see an overall rating score… Below is an example of an RSS feed that can be placed on member web sites.

TrustMe.net community support
I stated in a previous blog post that we’re trying to make TrustMe.net have all the benefits of an open source platform. By offering free services, community input and now community support, we think we can better address the needs of our users.
When you click on the support tabs, you’ll be taken to the trustme forums where users and TrustMe staff can both address issues.
